Trident Healthacre are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Pharmacy Manager to join our clients team at a private hospital in Leicester. This is a full-time contract position for a minimum of 6 months, with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have a background in oncology.

Job Description
Trident Healthacre are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Pharmacy Manager to join our clients team at a private hospital in Leicester. This is a full-time contract position for a minimum of 6 months, with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have a background in oncology.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department.
- Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, ensuring high standards of practice.
- Provide clinical pharmacy services with a focus on oncology.
- Ensure the safe and effective use of medications.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Conduct medication reviews and manage inventory.
- Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures.
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Proven experience as a Pharmacy Manager, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Oncology experience or background is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Competitive hourly rate of £42.
- Equivalent to £1,575 per week before tax or £75,600 per annum equivalant
