Do you want to help people with mobility issues access their communities more easily?

A vacancy has now become available to join the Blue Badge Team, Adult Social Care.

This is a very busy service processing applications from both new applicants and also those renewing their Blue Badges.

As part of the team, you would be responsible for the processing of applications as they come in, both online and paper. You will also be required to take telephone calls on a rota basis on the information line.

These applications can be due to Mobility and other health issues including Hidden Disabilities for both Adults and Children.

This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday 8.30am till 5pm

You will also require a DBS check if selected.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
