An Accounts Senior is needed to lead our Accounting & Finance team in the professional services industry. This leader will be crucial to ensure efficiency and accuracy in our Wrexham office.

Our client is a reputable player in the professional services industry. With a team of over 500 employees, they are known for their commitment to quality and their strong client focus.

Description

  • Produce first draft financial statements for the more complex assignments, identifying and appropriately clearing client queries before passing the file for review
  • Following the client review/meeting, ensure any final adjustments are processed in the financial statements and taxation software.
  • Draft tax computations and return forms for all entity types and complete the tax working papers schedule
  • Submission of approved financial statements and statutory tax returns in accordance with the entity's needs
  • Produce client management accounts and appropriate commentary, ensuring client needs and deadlines are met to support them from an advisory perspective.
  • Perform financial analysis and present findings to upper management.
  • Provide coaching, training and support to Associate's, utilising your knowledge and experience
  • Review working papers from Associates

Profile

A Successful Accounts Senior Should Have

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) or working toward completion
  • Experience in a team coaching and mentorship
  • Have the desire and ability to develop and grow within a forward-thinking and supportive environment
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Offer
