Warehouse Supervisor - 12 month Fixed Term Contract

The Role

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you'll be responsible for a designated area within our warehouse, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Flexibility is key, as you'll need to cover various areas as needed. In return, we offer:

Key areas of responsibilities include:

Pick & Despatch:

• Ensure accurate picking, checking, packing, and despatching of products to avoid damage during transit.
  
  

Goods In:

• Safely receive products, including returns, check against delivery notes/POs, book in and put away efficiently, resolving queries promptly.
  
  

Assembly:

• Re-label and re-package products to a high standard, fulfilling customer requirements and prioritising back orders.
  
  

Inventory:

• Maintain stock integrity through thorough processing, system transaction auditing, physical cycle counting, and ad-hoc stock checking.
  
  

Key Responsibilities of Warehouse Supervisor:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflows in your designated area.
• Lead a team, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
• Drive Health & Safety initiatives and ensure compliance.
• Maintain stock accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Train, develop, and support a multi-skilled team.
• Communicate effectively across departments and external stakeholders.
  
  

Experience And Knowledge Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse operations and team leadership.
• Strong Health & Safety knowledge and a track record of safe practices.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
• Hands-on leadership style with a focus on collaboration.
• Physical ability to manage warehouse activities (standing, lifting up to 20kg).
