Main duties of the job
We are looking for an trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner (tACP) with a specialist interest in Cardiology, to join an established team of cardiac rhythm management ACPs. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic trainee ACP to work collaboratively with the multi professional team in providing advanced clinical practice within local and nationally agreed protocols and guidelines, with the experience, knowledge, and leadership to develop and support the delivery of the service. We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic candidates who have a high level of knowledge and experience of acute nursing in a Cardiology setting.

Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities
Cardiac rhythm management is a sub speciality of cardiology that manages patients with arrhythmias and cardiac devices in the pre hospital, outpatient, day case and inpatient setting. As a trainee ACP you will be developed to meet the four pillars of advanced practice to manage and facilitate this population’s patient pathway.
Trainee practitioners will be expected to complete an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP) under the support and guidance of your ACP and medical colleagues.

- This is a training post in which the practitioner will deliver, under the supervision of an Advanced Clinical Practitioner or Designated Medical Practitioner (DMP) an advanced level of clinical practice within the speciality area
- The trainee ACP will develop the knowledge and skill required to provide expert clinical management and care to patients within the speciality area
- The trainee ACP will complete a clinical portfolio, providing evidence of the HEE capabilities for advanced clinical practice and speciality specific competencies in practice whilst working towards a recognised MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice.

- Registered Healthcare Professional on relevant part of NMC / HCPC register
- Completion of Healthcare Degree (or equivalent - Minimum 120 credits at L6 or evidence of Masters level study)
