Role Overview
Are you great with graphics, creative with colours and divine at design? Then you could be exactly who we’re looking for! We have a brand new position as a Junior Graphic Designer, ideal for someone looking to make their first career step in graphic design and join our friendly communications team. You’ll be proactive, enthusiastic, able to work autonomously, and keen to take on a huge variety of design tasks to support our client portfolio.

Initial informal call with the Talent team
Online tests in numeracy and logical reasoning
Interview with the Hiring Manager and member of the team
Final interview with the Director

Responsibilities
- Delivering work based on established objectives, brand guidelines and creative briefs
- Delivering creative on behalf of the Communications team as well as occasionally supporting various other departments within the business
- Producing printed and digital communications, inline with our client’s brand guideline or established Employee Value Proposition (EVP) brand
- Creating emails using both HTML and our email builder tools
- Demonstrating basic presentation skills to communicate your ideas
- Actioning amendments attained via peer reviews and customer feedback
- Simultaneously working across numerous overlapping projects
- Print production based tasks such as print quote requests and supplying artwork
- Actively contributing ideas to creative brainstorm sessions
- Degree level qualification in Graphic Design or equivalent
- Experience using the Adobe Creative Cloud primarily InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- A basic understanding of print and finish techniques
- A basic understanding of UX and digital design
- A good understanding of typography and page layout
- An understanding of material costs, time limits, and their impact on the design
- Up-to-date with current trends and styles in the media sector
- A basic understanding of various team communications and project management tools
