Your role and responsibilities
As the Thought Leadership Content Manager for ABB’s Process Automation business area, you will be responsible for developing and executing thought leadership initiatives and social media content to strengthen the position ABB Process Automation as a leader in automation, electrification and digitalization and engage our target audiences across relevant channels.
In this role, you will be driving our thought leadership and social media content, ensuring impact, consistency and alignment of messaging with business goals. Your will collaborate across teams and with senior leadership to create, publish and amplify content that resonates with target audiences and positions ABB Process Automation as an industry thought leader. This role reports to Head of External Communications, ABB Process Automation.
The work model for the role is: remote, or alternatively hybrid from our St Neots, Stonehouse or Daresbury locations depending on your location - {}

Your role and responsibilities
As the Thought Leadership Content Manager for ABB’s Process Automation business area, you will be responsible for developing and executing thought leadership initiatives and social media content to strengthen the position ABB Process Automation as a leader in automation, electrification and digitalization and engage our target audiences across relevant channels.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Developing high-impact thought leadership content to enhance ABB Process Automation business area’s industry positioning and influence, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Creating and managing a high volume of compelling content, including articles, whitepapers, blog posts, video scripts, messaging documents, social media updates and more.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership, to strategize and produce thought leadership content.
- Identifying and leveraging opportunities for content repurposing and amplification across relevant channels, especially social media.
- Utilizing your deep understanding of social media tools and trends to create, curate and manage social media content to ensure consistent, cohesive narrative, style and presence.
- Continuously monitoring, analyze and report the impact of activities, making data-driven decisions to enhance visibility and engagement on relevant channels.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in communications, public relations, journalism or a related field.
- Journalistic background is highly desirable.
- Proven significant experience within communications, with a strong emphasis on storytelling, writing and social media within corporate, media or agency settings.
- Highly proficient English language capability is essential (C2 level +).
- Proven ability to produce a high volume of engaging content across multiple formats, consistently aligned with business goals.
- Extensive hands-on experience with social media strategies, tools and platforms, with a keen eye on the latest trends and developments to enhance online influence.
- Excellent organizational skills to plan and execute activities, considering deadlines and priorities. Ability to quickly assimilate complex information and take necessary actions.
- Ability to effectively interact senior management from diverse backgrounds with a high degree of professionalism to drive content co-creation and amplification.
- High attention to detail in creating, editing, proofreading and tailoring content.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams. Experience working within international B2B environments is a plus.
