Your Role
Your role as the Senior Control of Work Technician involves actively supporting and maintaining the Permit to Work process to ensure a comprehensive understanding of site Control of Work management. Responsibilities include assisting in the development and monitoring of site risk assessments and electronic permit systems for regulatory compliance, reviewing contractor documentation for alignment with company procedures and championing the incident reporting system while driving corrective actions and root cause analyses. You will conduct audits and inspections to ensure legal compliance, stay updated on Health and Safety legislation, inspect work sites for safety issues and apply local SHE processes to meet business goals. Additionally, the role entails monitoring contractor HSE performance, delivering site inductions, creating toolbox talks, overseeing Permit to Work issuance, leading cultural improvements, maintaining an onsite presence to address concerns and engaging with employees to support safe work systems.

Who You Are
- 5+ years experience in a relevant engineering role (electrical, mechanical, process etc)
- Experienced in Permit to work / Control of Work process and management
- Risk assessment and Hazardous Energy competent
- NEBOSH /IOSH qualification - desirable
