A Typical Day Would Include

  • Responsibility for capturing the client needs through the development of User, Stakeholder, Operational, System and Subsystem requirements.
  • Accountability for the development of the Requirements Management Approach through associated plans and processes aligned to the WSP SI:D 3 Methodology
  • Designing and implementation of requirements databases using industry standard tools such as DOORS
  • Management of the requirements baseline through the life of the project and the system, including change control
  • Capturing the verification and validation information, ensuring progressive demonstration of requirements linked to tests and results.

We'd Love To Hear From You If You Have

  • A degree in a technical engineering related discipline, or relevant experience.
  • Chartered status with a relevant professional body for senior grades or can demonstrate working towards Chartered status for junior grades.
  • Experience in requirements development and management
  • Experience in applying various Requirements Management tools (e.g. DOORS)
  • Preference for railway knowledge including but not limited to stations, rail systems and rolling stock
  • Familiarity with requirements best practice such as traceability, acceptance criteria and change control.
