Kier Group are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join Kier Mechanical & Electrical (KME) which is our internal, self delivery MEP business that works closely with the Kier Build team.

Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire

Contract: Permanent – Full Time. Flexible working options are available.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Mechanical and Electrical Team, supporting them managing the commercial resources of the assigned project to maximise planned gross margin through the placement and control of contracts and subcontracts.

Your Day To Day Will Include

• Complying with the procurement strategy set out from the beginning of the project.
• Valuation and measuring of change.
• Advising on legal and contractual matters on orders and change
• Valuation of project and subcontract progress.
• Undertaking procurement activities including subcontract enquires, tender reviews and order production.
  
  
  

What are we looking for?

This role of MEP Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

• You can show prior experience of working within a Commercial role for a Contracting business.
• You can show an understanding of the MEP market and industry.
• You can demonstrate an understanding of all main forms of contract JCT, NEC etc
