Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

Role Overview:

The Quality Auditor plays a key role in maintaining product safety and quality. Responsibilities include conducting audits, enforcing compliance with food safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Train and support factory staff in quality procedures.
• Maintain and calibrate factory measuring equipment.
• Monitor and enforce food safety, quality, and integrity protocols.
• Conduct audits, investigate non-conformances, and implement corrective actions.
• Perform environmental swabbing, air plate testing, and water sampling.
• Oversee product testing, sensory assessments, and shelf-life monitoring.
• Assist in customer and third-party audits.
• Ensure production records meet compliance standards.
  
  

Skills & Experience:

• Quick learner with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication at all levels.
• Proactive ‘can-do’ attitude with the ability to prioritise tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
• Ideally hold a Food Science qualification and HACCP / Food Safety knowledge.
