Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of mechanical projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
- Manage project teams, including subcontractors and site staff, to maintain the highest quality standards.
- Liaise closely with the estimating and design teams to confirm specifications, schedules, and budgets.
- Develop detailed project plans, monitor progress, and adjust as necessary to meet project objectives.
- Ensure all works comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide clear communication and regular progress updates to stakeholders, including clients and internal management.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor performance, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Proactively identify and implement cost-saving measures and value engineering opportunities.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contract variations, RFIs, and completion certificates.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the building services or M&E sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of ventilation, plumbing, and air-conditioning systems.
- Experience managing projects of similar scale (up to £2M) across commercial, healthcare, and educational sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and ensure project objectives are met.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in project management software and MS Office applications.
- Full UK driving license.
- Competitive salary of £65,000 - £70,000 per annum.
