Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Location: Lincoln

Salary: £83.33 - £90.00 per day (Depending on experience)

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Type: Full-Time

A welcoming school in Lincoln is looking for a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant (TA) to provide general classroom support. This is a rewarding role where you can make a real difference.

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant (TA), you will play a crucial role in supporting school students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teachers and parents to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive and inclusive educational setting.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide general classroom support.
• Implement support strategies in line with the school’s policies.
• Work closely with teachers and parents to ensure progress.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualised support plans for the students, tailoring strategies, and resources to meet their specific needs.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and adjusting support strategies, as necessary.
• Participate in meetings and discussions to share insights and strategies for supporting the students’ learning and well-being.
• Help foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where students feel valued and included.
• Employ different instructional techniques and materials to cater to the diverse learning styles and needs of the students.
• Keep detailed notes on the students’ development and communicate this information to teachers, parents, and other relevant parties.
  
  

What You Bring To The Table

• Experience working with students in a classroom setting.
• SEN experience is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues, building positive and supportive relationships.
• Demonstrate the ability to establish trust and rapport with all members of the school community.
• Show a deep commitment to helping students by exhibiting patience and empathy in your interactions.
• Additional qualifications or training in education or behaviour management are advantageous but not mandatory, providing you with additional skills and knowledge to support students effectively.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
