Job Title: Key Stage 1 Teacher

Location: ChesterfieldPay Rate: £150 - £230 per day (Depending on experience)

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Key Responsibilities Of KS1 Teacher

• Design and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in alignment with the KS1 curriculum, fostering a love for learning.
• Establish a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
• Monitor, assess, and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies to support individual learning needs and development.
• Promote the social, emotional, and academic growth of students, ensuring their well-being and success.
• Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, parents, and school staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning experience.
• Implement positive behaviour management strategies to maintain a safe, structured, and inspiringlearning environment.
  
  

Requirements Of KS1 Teacher

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (KS1).
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and child development.
• Passion for primary education and student progress.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to create an engaging and nurturing learning environment.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
