Key Responsibilities Of KS1 Teacher
- Design and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in alignment with the KS1 curriculum, fostering a love for learning.
- Establish a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
- Monitor, assess, and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies to support individual learning needs and development.
- Promote the social, emotional, and academic growth of students, ensuring their well-being and success.
- Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, parents, and school staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning experience.
- Implement positive behaviour management strategies to maintain a safe, structured, and inspiringlearning environment.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (KS1).
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and child development.
- Passion for primary education and student progress.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to create an engaging and nurturing learning environment.
- Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
