Hire Technician

We are looking for a Hire Technician to join us at Hirebase Grantham!

Our teams of highly competent, experienced and friendly staff work closely with our suppliers to ensure we have the latest branded products available. It’s our people that make our business great, so we make it our priority to provide the best up to date training to ensure our colleagues can offer expert advice and support.

We rely on our Hire Technicians to ensure hire fleet and equipment is maintained to company and legal standards and is distributed efficiently and safely within company policy and procedures. Working in one of our depots you’ll be part of a team where everyone is putting in the effort in to offer brilliant customer service and to get the job done.

Here’s what you can expect to do as a Hire Technician with Hirebase:

• Ensure hire fleet is maintained and repaired to the company and legal standards
• Ensure all hire fleet maintenance records are kept up to date
• Keep Hirebase workshop safe clean and tidy to company standards
• Have responsibility of the hire fleet within your branch
• Complete distribution of hire equipment using company vehicles
• Serve customers efficiently, safely and to the company policies and procedures
• Serve customers on our Hire counter and complete other branch duties when required
• Make customer deliveries as and when required using our branch van/trailer
• Work as part of a team to drive and contribute to branch sales and profit targets

As this role includes driving and customer deliveries you will need a full UK manual driving licence.
