Flexographic Printing Apprentice - Glasgow - Cumbernauld

Eurostampa UK Ltd - A progressive print company specialising in high quality printing of labels, primarily for the Spirit Bottling Industry Whisky/Drinks Industry has the following vacancy within our PSL (Pressure Sensitive Label (Self-adhesive) Department.

The successful candidate will work within the PSL Department and will be registered as a Modern Apprentice. You will study towards a nationally recognised Scottish Vocational Qualification certificate which will involve structured on and off the job training.

The role involves the production of flexographically printed self-adhesive labels.

• Be computer literate
• Have good attention to detail
• Be able to work unsupervised and able to resolve problems/identify and implement improvements
  
  

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):-

• Complete Modern Apprenticeship in PRESS Flexographic Printing Pathway to eventually run state of the art printing presses RCS & Omet
• Complete relevant units set by Attain Training (external training provider) in a timely manner and ensure all records and logbooks of work performed are maintained
• Ensure quality checks are carried out efficiently
• General machine maintenance
