Job Description
Purpose of the role
We are offering an excellent opportunity for or innovative and curious apprentices to join the 3-year Apprenticeship with our Technical Support Team covering Europe. During your apprenticeship programme you will attend college one day per week, whilst continuing your development, supported by your KLA mentor. In this program you will develop your skills in all aspects of build, test, operation, and maintenance of groundbreaking semiconductor equipment.

We are looking for driven individuals who are passionate about learning and developing a successful long-term career within SPTS. The successful candidate must:
Shift Allowance, annual leave starting at 25 days (plus bank holidays), cash health plan, cycle to work scheme, global bonus plan, share scheme, rewards scheme, life assurance, subsidised restaurant and free on-site parking.

- Mechanical/Electrical assembly, wiring and fault finding in our tools
- Operation and process engineering
- Successful completion of NVQ logbook entries by the required timelines
- Work through your preparation towards HNC Qualification in Electronics
Experience/ Behaviours:
We are looking for driven individuals who are passionate about learning and developing a successful long-term career within SPTS. The successful candidate must:
- Be confident, self-motivated, and enjoy a challenge.
- Enjoy working to tight timescales
- Have excellent social skills
- Enjoy problem solving assignments
- Be a standout team-member, who is flexible on working as a part of a group, but also on their own initiative
- Be computer literate
- First year of BTEC or similar course in electronics/electrical engineering that allows entry to BTEC year 2 on day release.
- Maths GCSE at grade B or above, and four GCSE’s including English and science at grade C or above
