The Role:
As Contracts Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple construction projects ranging from £500k to £5m in value across East Anglia, working closely with an exciting variety of clients with full autonomy to deliver works from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and managing all aspects of the construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to a high-quality standard.
- Managing and coordinating sub-contractors, suppliers and materials, ensuring compliance with contracts and specifications.
- Managing all contractual aspects of the construction projects, including variations, claims, and disputes.
- Managing client expectations and maintaining regular communication to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant Health and Safety legislation and regulations.
- Proven experience as a Construction Contracts Manager, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, sub-contractors, and colleagues.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and regulations.
- Experience managing projects ranging from £500k to £5m in value.
- Ideally Degree, HND or NVQ qualified in Construction Management.
- A proactive attitude to building client relationships.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
