We are looking for a CNC Milling Machinist to fully machine complex components and ensure quality and on time delivery.

We are looking for a CNC Milling Machinist to fully machine complex components and ensure quality and on time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Fully machine parts as required using 3-axis and 5-axis VMC’s.
- Ensure quality of parts is to a high standard.
- Ensure on time delivery.
- Load offline programs and liaise with production engineer to optimise set up.
- Save all programs and set up sheets after every job.
- Assist Shift leaders and engineers with any tooling or material requirements.
- Safe operations of machines, tools and equipment.
- Ensure workshop standards are maintained and machines are kept clean at all times.
- Previous experience in a similar role with a background working within a small batch / prototype manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Matsuura, DMG or Colchester machines preferable.
- A working knowledge of Heidenhain and Fanuc controls.
- Preferred industry would be Motorsport, Aerospace or research and development.
- Flexibility, a positive outlook and pro-active approach is essential.
- Ability to work reliably under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Well organised and a good communicator.
- May be required to work extended hours or weekends.
