What Are We Looking For?
Our in-house CAD design team is looking for an experienced CAD Technician (mechanical bias) to join Chemical & Biological Treatment business platform in Darlington. You’ll be working alongside experienced Designers across a multi-disciplinary team who have years of knowledge and experience within RSE to offer guidance and support, as well as the opportunity to work on technically complex and challenging projects within the Water industry.
Some Of Your Key Duties Include

You’ll be working alongside experienced Designers across a multi-disciplinary team who have years of knowledge and experience within RSE to offer guidance and support, as well as the opportunity to work on technically complex and challenging projects within the Water industry.
Some Of Your Key Duties Include
- Create high quality detailed 3D models based on current and new designs.
- Independently work and manage timescales against project programmes.
- Produce and provide accurate, detailed and to scale drawings.
- Make changes to existing designs.
- Checking the quality of information collected on site, and the successful transition to deliverables.
- Maintain accurate drawing records.
- Apply knowledge of materials and engineering principles to check feasibility of manufacture and construction of the product.
- Qualification to degree / HND/ HNC in Engineering or equivalent.
- Good knowledge in the use of AutoCAD & 3D modelling.
- Experience of working with Inventor or Solidworks.
- Keen focus on quality whilst also be able to work at pace within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- UK Driving Licence.
