Your New Role
As Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations and payroll processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing payroll accurately and on time for a company with around 600 employees.
- Managing financial records and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Preparing financial reports and assisting with audits.
- Collaborating with HR and other departments to resolve payroll-related issues.
- Implementing and maintaining financial controls and procedures.
- Assisting with month-end procedures.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Bank Reconciliations and Assisting with Preparation of Management Accountants.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in finance and payroll management.
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and financial systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant qualifications in finance or accounting.
- A competitive salary of up to £35,000 DOE.
