Our client based in Newport Pagnell, Milton Keynes are currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor on a permanent basis. Working hours will be 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Working with a small friendly team of warehouse operatives.
The role will involve:-
The role will involve:-
- Organise and control staff
- Experience in direct despatch
- Booking in administration
- Manage and negotiate outbound freight (carriage)
- Manage workloads and plan the incoming/outgoing flow of goods
- Ensure compliance with customer’s minimum delivery standards
- Oversee basic maintenance around the building
- Picking and packing of customers’ orders
- Maintain required minimum standards for presentation of goods for delivery
- Unloading and receipt of good via containers and other delivery methods, where necessary
- Repack, re-label and QC goods as required
- Fork-lift truck driving (if trained, if not the willingness to be trained)
- Maintain the tidiness and Health & Safety standards within the warehouse
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
