Warehouse Operative - Dundee – William Wilson

As a Warehouse Operative based in Dundee you’ll be responsible for:

  • Completing general warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dealing with goods in - Unloading incoming deliveries of stock on arrival and booking it in on the system
  • Loading the delivery vans
  • Picking and packing for customer orders and branch transfers, wrapping and strapping pallets - this will involve some heavy lifting
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and adhering to Health and Safety guidelines
  • At times you will help out serving customers on the counter

This is a full time, permanent role working 40 hours a week Monday - Friday 08.00am - 5.00pm and Saturday morning on a rota basis 09.00am - 12.00pm.

And here’s what we’d like you to have:

  • Previous experience in a busy warehouse environment.
  • Previous MHE knowledge (material handling equipment) would be advantageous
  • Strong numeracy skills and PC literacy.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn, including the completion of necessary training (forklift licence training will be provided).
  • A strong work ethic.
