Unit Manager

Mellors Care are excited to be supporting a Manchester-based care home in their search for a Unit Manager. This is a great role for someone who is passionate about care and looking to move up into a management position.

The role will invovle delivering hands-on care, as well as leading a unit from a management and organisation point of view. Responsibilties will include;

• Personal Care
• Assisting with meal times
• Completing risk assesments
• Staff Supervisions
• Working closely with the Home Manager to ensure consistently high care standards are delivered
• On-Call duties on occasion
  
  

The succesul candidate will have experience as a healthcare assistant within an elderly care setting. Some leadership experience is also essential - this can be in a similar unit manager role, team leader or Senior Carer position.
