Job Overview
An exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic healthcare professional has become available. Learning and Development (L&D) are now seeking to appoint a Training Delivery Lead to join our Service.
L&D are responsible for the training and education of 6000 staff and over 1000 student each year, from pre-employment to employment through professional training and learning beyond registration. The role we are recruiting to will lead and manage a team of trainers who support and deliver clinical training to our Trusts workforce.
To succeed in this role, the post holder must have excellent clinical knowledge, proven ability to train core/clinical skills, and be a strong strategic leader, with a deep understanding of training methodologies and in-depth experience of working across the full learning and development cycle from needs analysis to evaluation. Experience of working across different services, directorates and organisations will be beneficial to this role.
The role includes responsibility for the delivery and management of teaching/training delivered to the Trust to maintain compliance as required by CQC and NHSE. This will include a high quality provision of mandatory training programmes, role essential courses, external contract management and delivery of specialist training programmes.

Job Description Summary (Main duties and responsibilities)
The post holder is responsible for the delivery and management of teaching/training delivered to the Trust. This will include a high quality provision of mandatory training programmes, personal development courses, external contract management and delivery of specialist training programmes. The post holder will lead the corporate Learning & Development training resources to develop a highly effective function which meets the needs of the organisation including trainers. This role will lead on the consistent and high quality of a customer focused, responsive service that provides robust delivery on core requirements of training and quality standards. Maintaining the Trusts compliance with CQC and legislative requirements. The post holder will use their expertise and specialist knowledge of training to develop and maintain a quality strategy that is deliverable within Learning & Development and the wider organisations training services
