We have an incredible opportunity to join us here at Milestone Infrastructure. The main role of a Data Analyst is to collect, organise and study data to provide business insight. As a Data Analyst you could be involved with managing, cleansing, manipulating, abstracting and aggregating data, and conducting a range of analytical studies on that data.
Key Responsibilities
As an apprentice, you’ll receive on-the-job training and experience in your position along with formal training to gain the knowledge and skills you’ll need to support our business operations. You’ll join a team with a dedicated line manager committed to enhancing your career experiences. You will receive the Level 4 Data Analysis qualification upon completion of this programme.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
As a Milestone Trainee Apprentice, you will be recruited on a permanent contract and after completing your apprenticeship you will be promoted into the business. You will also have further development opportunity through professional qualification or training courses.
An offer of employment for this role will be subject to a satisfactory DBS Check. Such checks will be requested once a conditional offer of employment has been made.

As a Data Analyst you could be involved with managing, cleansing, manipulating, abstracting and aggregating data, and conducting a range of analytical studies on that data.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the performance analysts in analysing, monitoring and reporting on key performance metrics for the contract including KPI results, internal and external reports and trend analysis
- Administrative support for the wider performance team including but not limited to; cleansing of data, data entry, producing decision and action logs from key meetings
- Analysing large data sets across several workstreams identifying trends and keeping key stakeholders informed
- Supporting the Programme Manager with cyclical maintenance programme monitoring including supply chain compliance monitoring
- Support the development and implementation of digital dashboards through PowerBI assessing the requirements for each team
- Supporting the Operational and Scheduling teams during periods of high-demand and adverse weather conditions
- Develop data reporting tools to ensure key performance data is accessible to the wider business
- Supporting the Communications and Social Value team during periods of high volumes of enquiries, assisting in drafting responses and data collection
- Analytical skills including confidence with large data sets
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with digital dashboards (particularly Power BI) desirable but not compulsory
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience with a works management or asset management software
- Confidence to escalate performance concerns or challenge as required
- Driving License not compulsory
