Your Role
The role of the T&I Engineer is to work as part of an agile delivery team to verify and test the software solutions on new and legacy hardware platforms.
Your Day To Day
There is no such thing as a typical day here at Sepura. You will be supported by your manager and team, as well as collaborating with other departments across the business.
The Activities You Will Be Responsible For Include
This role requires Security Clearance.

The Activities You Will Be Responsible For Include
- Writing, maintaining, and executing Test cases.
- Testing of software solutions / applications to ensure that the developed products meet the requirements and are free of defects.
- Reading and understanding requirements documentation provided by a Product Definition Team or Product Strategy Team.
- Being involved in the process of clarifying and refining requirements.
- Providing estimated timescales for the testing of requirements.
- Producing and maintaining appropriate documentation for tracking quality metrics.
- Completing work to a high standard and in a timely manner.
- Being responsible for the quality of the product
This role requires Security Clearance.
Must-haves
What you need to succeed:
Qualifications
- A formal qualification (Degree) in Computing Science or equivalent experience.
- A high level of communication skills and technical understanding
- Have the ability to communicate with core software development team to understand solution behaviour and explain fault details
- A critical eye for detail, that challenges the status quo
- Capable of delivering critical feedback without damaging relationships
- To be outspoken when projects are producing sub-standard output
- Be open to change, both with technologies and methodologies
- Continually assess workload and prioritise relevant work activities
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Experience and Skills
- 2+ years’ experience of commercial software testing
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- ISTQB certification
- Working knowledge of source code management technologies
- Knowledge of software development / issue tracking systems (e.g. Jira, etc.)
- Experience with automated test frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress etc.)
- Experience with web service technologies (e.g. SOAP, REST, JSON etc.)
