Our team based from modern offices in central Derby HQ are looking for an R&D Administrator / Analyst to join their busy workforce. We are flexible on experience, but you must be hardworking and able to work as part of a busy, hardworking team. You will hold a key role in assisting UK businesses with the preparation of the financial data for their R&D tax credit claims.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Collate & format data to facilitate processing of R&D claims.
  • Blend data by combining data from various sources and formats for its relevance to R&D.
  • Analyse simple and complex structed and unstructured data to support business outcomes using basic statistical methods to analyse the data.
  • Validate results using various techniques, e.g. cross checking, to identify faults in data results and to ensure data quality.
  • Collaborate with people both internally and externally at all levels, store, manage data securely in a compliant manner.
  • Practise continuous self-learning to keep up to date with technological developments to enhance relevant skills and take responsibility for work.


Skills & Experience Required:

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, especially Excel.
  • Liaising with Clients and external professionals.
  • Have a great attention to detail.
  • Conscientious and hardworking
  • Excellent written, communication and listening skills.
  • Familiarity working to deadlines.
  • Keen eye for detail.


Salary & Benefits:

  • Excellent starting salary £20,000 - £24,000 (depending on experience)
  • Christmas shutdown
