Job Overview
An opportunity has risen for a Team Manager within MK Sp CAMHS - Liaison Intensive Support Team (LIST).
To operationally manage the Liaison and Intensive Support Team, working effectively within the multi-disciplinary setting, holding self and colleagues to account appropriately and demonstrating personal commitment to integrated (managerial/professional) leadership. To achieve an agreed set of health care performance targets. To contribute to system working and collaborating with systems and place partners across the Bedford Luton and Milton Keynes (BLMK) Collaborative, East of England, Social Care, Education, Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprises (VCSEs), Acute Hospitals and the wider CNWL Trust.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will participate and lead positively on promoting and developing a consistent, safe and high-quality service and will actively input in the continuing development and delivery of this innovative and creative service. Excellent communication and motivation skills are essential, as is the ability to promote strong leadership. LIST has a strong track record of providing both external and internal training for our staff in line with the service development and need.

Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities
The effective implementation and leadership of a high-quality responsive crisis service to patients, their carers and referrers and be responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of the service.
To be operationally responsible for the effective management of the LIST
To develop the service to offer more crisis and home treatment opportunities, reducing the need for admissions. This will be enabled by additional crisis funding to look at a wider Multi Agency Team.
Ensure effective and safe management and monitoring of the CAMHS NHS 111 provision.

Essential criteria
- Educated to degree/ diploma level with a relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
- Clinical/post graduate management qualification or equivalent level of experience and proven ability to perform at this level
- Post Graduate management training/qualification desirable

- Extensive experience of and demonstrable achievement in managing health/social care services.
- Experience of modernising services without additional resources.
- Experience of developing and maintaining effective partnerships with stakeholders in the redesign of services.
- Experience of project management and imaginative planning.

- Management of resources and good track record with change management, efficiency savings and financial recovery plans.
- Measurable track record in involving and motivating staff to improve performance.

- An understanding of effective systems for integrated governance and the management of clinical and nonclinical risks.
- Resilient and self motivated with drive and vision that is able to work on own initiative and manage a range of priorities across competing agendas.
- Empathy towards the needs of people using mental health and related services, and a vision of how services can make step changes for improvement.
- Full driving license and use of a car for business purposes.
