About The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children in primary education, working closely with teachers to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and supporting students learning.
- Provide one:on:one and small group support to students who need additional help.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.
- Prepare and organise teaching materials and resources.
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN) as required.
- Participate in school activities, events, and parent meetings as needed.
- Experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting.
- A patient, caring, and supportive approach to working with children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous but not essential.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
