What You Have To Do As a Teaching Assistant
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and structured lessons.
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students.
- Encourage students to develop confidence and independence in their learning.
- Assist in preparing learning materials and maintaining an organised classroom.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a respectful learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
- Work collaboratively with staff to enhance students' educational experience.
- CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance, or a related qualification.
- A degree in Psychology, Education or in a similar field.
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children is desirable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A patient, proactive, and supportive approach to working with students.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
