Pay Rates: GBP83.40 to GBP89.81 per day (depending on experience)

Reeson Education is recruiting a passionate and committed Teaching Assistant to join a thriving mainstream primary school in the OL5 area of Ashton:under:Lyne. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a Lower Key Stage 2 (LKS2) classroom, supporting pupils with lower abilities and special educational needs, helping them achieve their full potential.

About The Teaching Assistant Role

• Full:time role: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
• Focus: Supporting pupils who are behind their expected age range, of lower ability, or have special educational needs.
• Working 1:1 and in small groups, delivering targeted interventions under teacher guidance.
• Encouraging pupils engagement in lessons and fostering a positive learning environment.
• Providing emotional and academic support to help pupils develop their confidence and skills.
• Commitment to five full days a week is essential.

The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will

• Have experience as a teaching assistant or similar role working with children in a primary school setting, ideally with pupils in LKS2 or with SEN.
• Be patient, understanding, and passionate about helping children overcome challenges.
• Be proactive, adaptable, and able to engage pupils of varying abilities.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills to liaise with the teacher, parents, and support staff.
• Be fully committed to the role, providing consistency and support to the pupils and school team.
