About the Role:
- Lead the sustainability reporting and assurance team.
- Support client business development activities for sustainability, supporting our go to market activities, demonstrating ability to generate leads and expand our opportunities in this area and on proposals to clients
- Leading sustainability assurance engagements across all industries, acting in the capacity of ‘Engagement Manager, taking ownership for all aspects of engagement delivery from scoping, planning, testing, evaluating and concluding and team selection through to delivery, quality management, budgetary control and client communications.
- Delivering an innovative approach to our sustainability assurance service offering
- Leveraging your in depth knowledge of the sustainability landscape to enable you to act in the capacity of ‘trusted advisor’ for client stakeholders.
- Developing thought leadership and market eminence related to sustainability.
- Must have external audit experience and accredited to be an auditor (Essential), preferably with some managerial experience
- Must be fully qualified in ACCA/ACA or equivalent
- Desire to lead a high performing team covering a range of sustainability matters, in a dynamic, challenging environment.
- Understanding all spectrums of sustainability (i.e. Environmental, Social and Governance)
- Understanding of sustainability reporting frameworks and standards e.g. TCFD, GRI, UN SDG, UN PRI, CSRD/NFRD. SFDR, EU Taxonomy etc.
- Demonstrate abilities to develop assurance frameworks using ISAE 3000 standard or similar.
- Experience assessing the impact of climate change risks
