Job Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team in Ward 18, a 26-bedded general medical escalation ward.
The ward provides care for patients with various general medical conditions hence a good opportunity for you to be involved with patients from the various specialities.
Main duties of the job
As Staff Nurse, you will be working closely with the Junior sister, Senior Sister and Matron, playing an integral role in driving changes with a range of comprehensive orientation and support.
We can offer you a range of management and leadership development opportunities to support you in this role. Essential skills key to this role are implementing and maintaining high clinical standards whilst caring for patients, enhancing staff personal development, providing guidance, support and expertise to clinical staff.

- Current (or pending) NMC Registration (first or second level).
- Dementia course or study days
