Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day:to:day maintenance and cleanliness of the school buildings and grounds.
• Manage site security, including locking and unlocking the premises, monitoring access, and conducting regular health and safety checks.
• Liaise with external contractors and oversee maintenance work.
• Handle minor repairs and routine maintenance tasks.
• Assist with event setups, ensuring the school is ready for activities and special events.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and school policies.
  
  

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in a similar site or facilities management role.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• A practical, proactive approach with excellent problem:solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
  
  

Requirements

• An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this).
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Comprehensive CV covering the last 10 years of education/employment history with any breaks explained.
