The Role
Thornton Tomasetti’s London office is seeking talented and enthusiastic Engineers to join our team delivering major projects (including commercial, residential, cultural, life science and sports) in the City of London, mainland Europe and the Middle East. Candidates should ideally have experience in sports and entertainment projects, long span structures and/or Middle East projects. The Role

Responsibilities
- Structural analysis, design and detailing for all types of buildings and materials using a variety of building codes.
- Supervision and management of other engineers and BIM technicians.
- Coordination of design work with in-house staff across multiple offices, as well as other design professionals including Architects and other Engineering disciplines.
- Communicate with clients and other design professionals to understand project requirements.
- Role may involve some travel within the UK and abroad.
- Degree (Master’s or equivalent preferred) in structural engineering or related field.
- Strong technical skills.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and graphical / sketches.
- Working knowledge preferred of current industry software, such as SAP2000, ETABS, RAM, Risa3-D, Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper and Microsoft Office.
- Chartered Engineer Status (IStructE / ICE) preferred
- 7+ years of experience.
