We're seeking an exceptional Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our dynamic team at our Leicester plant. This is an outstanding leadership opportunity to help drive our mission of enhancing the world through pioneering solutions and unparalleled service. As our Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in optimizing our manufacturing processes to ensure maximum efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with our commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of our customers and communities

Our cutting-edge products are essential in the healthcare industry, ensuring the effectiveness of vital sterilization processes. With an unwavering commitment to excellence, we produce an astounding 16 million tests per month, which we proudly distribute to over 100 countries worldwide.

Duties - cont'd
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Leicester manufacturing plant, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to production targets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes, systems, and teams to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support innovation and meet evolving customer needs.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
- Play a key role in delivering the site’s vision for the next three years, focused on scaling operations, achieving sustainability goals, and maintaining STERIS’s position as a leader in the industry.
Required Experience
- Proven experience (8+ years) in a manufacturing operations leadership role, preferably within a highly regulated industry.
- Strong track record in driving operational excellence and implementing process improvements.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving strategic objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Management or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Advanced knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
