Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 and up to 20% bonus and benefits

The main purpose of the role is to partner with key leaders across the Bank to support and drive the overarching People strategy. The HRBP will also support to identify local departmental or geographical trends and challenges and work with senior managers to improve business and people performance.

As a Senior HR Business Partner at Tandem you will:
- Build strong working relationships with all key stakeholders
- Deliver professional/specialist HR expertise and input across your aligned business functions including:
- Partnering with business leaders to scope and develop the people plan specific to their function
- Leading and supporting the aligned Functional areas on all aspects of people change and reorganisation.
- Driving performance through robust application of performance management best practice
- Identifying efficiencies though appropriate challenge of resource requirements and organisational design
- Management and embedding of all required people processes and initiatives such as reward, talent, succession plans, performance management.
- Utilising people MI to identify key trends, provide insights and support action plans to improve people and business performance.
- Ensuring compliance with employment law and our regulatory environment across the Bank including compliance with the Senior Manager & Certification Regime.
- Improving employee engagement through helping business leaders understand employee challenges
- Creating and fostering an inclusive culture.
- Coaching business leaders and line managers on all issues relating to people.
- Developing and implementing HR policy.
- Support the CPO and wider People team in developing Tandems people strategy and agenda specifically:
- all aspects relating to organisational effectiveness such as compensation and reward, talent management, succession planning, performance management, organisational design and restructuring.
- developing and executing projects and initiatives.
- Lead a self-sufficient HR team of three (HR Manager, HR Advisor, and HR Administrator), providing guidance on employee relations cases when needed.
- Strong HR generalist background with previous line management experience
- Brilliant business partnering and key stakeholder management skills
- HR experience in a regulated environment.
- Experience of delivering operational effectiveness specifically compensation and reward, talent management, performance management and restructuring
- Good understanding of employment law
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build relationships and influence others of all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions
- Ability to work autonomously and use own initiative
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to handle change
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience working in an FCA-regulated environment and an understanding of SMCR and FCA regulations applicable to HR.
- CIPD qualified.
