We are supporting various customers worldwide in automotive electrical and electronics systems development. We are recruiting for an experienced automotive CAD data coordinator supporting the customer on-site as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for design solution data communication between customer PLM system and Bertrandt design in context environment.

Your responsibilities

• Establish a design-in context CAD environment for the Bertrandt engineering team
• Ensure latest levels of interfacing part geometry are present in the design-in-context environment
• Work within customer PLM system to maintain accurate representation of Bertrandt owned end items
• Check CAD items delivered by Bertrandt meet customer CAD standards
• Provide change level and from/to modification reports for regular CAD end items uploads to customer
• Maintain and communicate VisiBOM for Bertrandt owned end items
• Perform and record DMU checks for Bertrandt owned end items
• Create and manage a CAD data transmittal process
• Communicate CAD data in support of surface change requests
• Support data exchange with customer CAE attribute teams
• Communicate feasibility sections/CAD studies to support A surface issue resolution
• Communicate CAD data for prototype builds
• Lead timely and accurate Data Drops delivering CAD data for Single Point Release Gates
• Manage post B release CAD releases through MMC/Aeko
• Interact with project team members in the UK, Germany and other locations as required
  
  
  

What you bring along:

• Proven experience in Catia V5 and Teamcenter (LCA experience is also desired)
• Ability to self-mange workload and maintain a workplan to ensure project deliverables are met
• Well-developed ability to communicate effectively with activists at all levels within Bertrandt and the customer’s organisation
• Demonstrate the ability to be an independent and proactive actor in the interests of the project
• Experience in leading effective meetings when required
• Used to being flexible to the demands of the working environment
• Experience in LCA, MMC & Aeko an advantage
• Engineering degree preferred or proven experience
  
  
  

Position is confirmed inside IR35. Successful candidates need to be eligible to work in the UK, hold a UK driver’s license and be able to travel to Europe and internationally.
