Registered Nurse – Non Medical Prescriber | Morecambe

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wound Care Nurse (Non Medical Prescriber) to join our North Lancashire Team!

• Contract – Fixed term
• Hours – Full-time, Part-time
• Location – Morecambe Health Centre, Hanover Street, Morecambe, Lancashire, LA4 5LY
• Salary – £23.61 to £27.01 an hour Depending on experience
  
  

Main duties of the role

The Post Holder Will Undertake Wound Assessments And Treatment For Patients With Both Simple And Complex Wounds. Patients Who Will Be Referred To This Service Will Be The Following Types

• Post operative including suture and staple removal
• Leg Ulcer may require doppler
• Post trauma skin tears, self-harm
• Cavity Wounds
• Burns
• Patient education including nutrition in relation to wound healing and scar management
  
  

There is an expectation to refer to the wider community team if required, support Senior clinicians and HCAs and attend meetings when required.

In addition, the post holder will help promote the service and implement change as requested from the ICB.
