We are looking for a highly motivated Purchase Ledger to join our clients Finance Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the company's ledger, processing invoices, and preparing payment runs.

Description
- Maintaining the purchase ledger and ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate.
- Processing invoices in a timely manner and preparing payment runs.
- Reconciling supplier statements and dealing with any discrepancies.
- Assisting with month-end and year-end closing of the ledger.
- Handling supplier queries and resolving any issues swiftly.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Assisting with other accounting duties as required.
- Contributing to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the Accounting & Finance department.
A Successful Purchase Ledger Should Have
- Relevant educational qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A competitive salary range of £27,000 - £31,000, depending on experience.
