Leadership tasks
- Liaise with Warehouse Managers/ Team Leaders, and other departments to meet production and servicing needs.
- Ensure a high service level is maintained
- Attend daily team meetings and deliver reportable figures.
- Prioritise all orders in collaboration with Warehouse Managers/Team Leaders.
- Verify and finalise completed production orders.
- Maintain organisation and ensure all production paperwork is accurate and up to date.
- Develop production plans and servicing schedules based on customer demands and operational capabilities.
- Provide accurate and timely updates regarding potential delays, delivery timelines, and quality issues.
- Collect and analyse data on production performance and team efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date reports, ensuring full transparency for relevant stakeholders.
- Provide cross-functional coverage for other roles in SCM job Area when necessary
- Secondary education with strong numeracy and computer literacy skills.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production planning role preferred.
- Detail-oriented, industrious, and capable of working under pressure.
- Strong team player with effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Prior training or experience on SAP is preferred.
