Key Responsibilities:
As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in optimising our manufacturing processes to drive efficiency, productivity, and quality across the production line. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Analyse and Improve Processes: Identify areas for improvement in current manufacturing and assembly processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma: Develop and implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline production workflows and reduce waste.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to optimise operations.
- Time and Motion Studies: Conduct time and motion studies to assess labor utilisation and identify process bottlenecks.
- Strategy Implementation: Develop and implement process improvement strategies that boost productivity and drive continuous improvements across the manufacturing process.
- Automation and Technology: Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate automation and cutting-edge manufacturing technologies into our processes.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, as well as company quality policies, throughout production operations.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, preferably in a similar process improvement role.
- Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies (certification preferred).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and project management abilities to collaborate with diverse teams and manage improvement projects.
