Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Principal Planning Officer - Infrastructure at Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council. Based in Basingstoke, with flexibility for some work from home. The Principal Planning Officer will focus on infrastructure planning projects working collaboratively across and outside the Council. Responsibilities include developing infrastructure projects, preparing reports on CIL and s106, analyzing planning data, engaging with stakeholders including Parish and Town Councils, and ensuring projects align with council policies.

Qualifications
- Proficient in Project Planning and development
- Excellent Analytical Skills and ability to interpret complex data
- Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Relevant qualifications in Urban Planning or a related field
- Experience working in local government or similar environments is advantageous
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
