Job Title: Primary Teacher

Location: Sevenoaks

Salary: £150 - £250 per day (Depending on experience)

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team in Sevenoaks. The ideal candidate will motivate students in their academic journey while helping to foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) students is highly preferred, as this role will require offering personalised support to meet the unique learning needs of diverse students.

About the Role: As a Primary Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education and inspiring students to develop a love for learning. You will work alongside a team of dedicated professionals to create engaging and effective lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.

Key Responsibilities Of Primary Teacher

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students, ensuring all students are motivated and challenged.
• Teach a range of subjects to primary school students.
• Organise and supervise extracurricular activities and events, fostering a sense of curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
• Monitor and assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external partners to enhance the curriculum and support student development.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.
• Promote health and safety in all activities, ensuring students understand the importance of safe practices.
  
  

Requirements Of Primary Teacher

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), trainee, or early career teacher.
• SEN Experience is a bonus.
• Experience in teaching primary school students is essential.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
• The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
• Commitment to promoting a love for learning and curiosity about the world.
• Relevant qualifications or training in primary education (desirable but not essential).

To work with GSL Education as a Primary Teacher, you will need:

• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
