Port of Sunderland is seeking to appoint a permanent, full time, Port Electrician to join the Engineering Team.

 

Annualised Hours Contract with a typical working week:

Mon-Thur: 08:00-16:00

Fri: 08:00-15:30


The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out, planning, organising, and supervising all electrical activities throughout the Port estate. 


Specifically, they will be responsible for all electrical maintenance, inspections, installations, fault finding of all port buildings and infrastructure.

 

The successful applicant will possess relevant experience of installation of all electrical systems of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, a recognised qualification within the electrical engineering industry (for example City and Guilds, HNC) and will be able to demonstrate experience of conducting inspections, testing etc in practice.
