Personnel Coordinator

Omega Subsea UK is currently looking for a Personnel Coordinator – Survey to join our busy and growing team. This role is full-time and based in our Westhill office in Aberdeen. 

The Survey Personnel Coordinator is responsible for the efficient and effective coordination of offshore personnel for survey projects. This role involves managing crew planning tool, coordination of logistics, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining up-to-date personnel records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate the planning, schedule, and deployments of offshore personnel for survey projects.
• Liaise with Personnel Logistics Coordinators, and recruitment agencies to ensure crew availability.
• Ensure all crew members have the necessary certifications, vaccinations, and documentation.
• Maintain and update the project matrices and vessel rotas with accurate information.
• Coordinate the booking of travel, accommodation, and transportation for offshore personnel when required with the Personnel Logistics coordinator and third parties as required.

Experience:

• At least 2-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the offshore or maritime industry.

Qualifications:

• BSc/MSc degree in Hydrography, Geodesy, Geophysics, Survey Engineering, or sufficient knowledge gained through experience in a comparable role in a similar field.
• A minimum 5 years’ relevant offshore industry experience – preferably in offshore Structures, Umbilicals, Risers and Flexibles (SURF) operations.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and facilitate the development of others within the organization.
