P6 Planner

We're looking for a Planner to join our Natural Resources team, working on our Southern Water team working from home and the Falmer office, East Sussex, you'll be working on our new 7 year, c£1bn framework with Southern Water.

Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part time hours may be available if desired, just let us know

What will you be responsible for?

We're looking for a Planner to join our NRNN business unit Water business unit. In this role you'll support in the production of project programmes and take ownership of key reportable's, as well as also providing ad hoc administration support whilst the role grows. This role will suit someone more junior looking to grow into the role.

Your Day To Day Will Include

• Developing programme strategies for construction and tenders.
• Constructing and maintaining detailed programmes (in P6 & 4D - training will be provided)) from first principles including resource and cost loading.
• Assimilate and interpret information from tender documentation, and input into construction techniques and buildability of construction methods.
• Co-ordinate with estimators and the project teams on all programme aspectsand take ownership of the programme to drive project delivery.
• Contribute, support, and communicate programme information, risk and commercial issues to operational teams in a variety of formats.
  
  
  

What are we looking for?

This Role Of Planner Is Great For You If

• Previous experience and a sound knowledge of construction techniques, with good commercial and contractual acumen.
• A demonstrable ability to develop, own and drive programmes, along with managing sub-contractor programmes.
• Experience and understanding of planning techniques.
• Competent in the use of planning software, (preferably P6) and 4D software.
• Competent/knowledgeable in the use of design software (CAD and Civils 3D, Revit).
