Organic Search Optimization Manager

Job Purpose

Drive the implementation of IWG’s SEO strategy to significantly boost visibility and traffic for a multi-brand portfolio of websites. The goal is to secure top 1-5 organic search positions across 121 countries in 44 language. Success will be measured through improved keyword rankings, increased traffic, and measurable impact on deals and revenue.

Job Scope

This role is pivotal as IWG transitions to a world-class content management system combined with cutting-edge custom tooling. This system integrates AI and human expertise to generate high-quality content and scale website experiences effectively.

You will collaborate closely with Digital Product, Technical, Content Authoring, Analytics, and Digital Marketing teams, ensuring seamless implementation of SEO strategies. The role requires taking ownership of delivery, delegating effectively, and ensuring cross-team alignment. Strong performance management skills are essential to drive results and address challenges immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Excellence: Leverage AI and prompt engineering to generate high-quality, relevant content, collaborating with regional experts to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• On-Site Optimization: Partner with product teams to create customer experiences and web pages that drive organic search performance.
• Technical SEO: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure web pages achieve Core Web Vital performance scores of 95%+ and SEO scores of 100%.
• Agency Collaboration: Work closely with the outsourced SEO agency to execute and iterate on SEO strategies based on insights and performance.
• Performance Monitoring: Use tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, STAT Analytics, and SEMrush to analyze website performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Search Engine Trends: Stay updated on search engine algorithm changes, industry trends, and best practices to continually refine strategies.
• Reporting: Provide regular performance reports, focusing on key metrics such as keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversion rates.
• Crisis Management: Proactively identify and address performance issues, ensuring swift corrective action.
