Chemotherapy Nurse Manager | Chemotherapy | Band 8a equivalent | Southend | Full Time | Permanent | No nights
Spire Wellesley Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Chemotherapy Manager to join our Cancer Services Team. The Successful applicant will provide high quality care and leadership to facilitate a smooth-running department. Great opportunity to step up and develop your skills.
Spire Wellesley Hospitals has 3 Theatres (2 laminar flow) and an endoscopy unit, a 33 bedded Surgical Ward covering a wide variety of specialties including Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, General Surgery, Vascular, Plastics, Gynae, Ophthalmology, Spinal, Urology and ENT. We have had a recent Theatre refurbishment to further upgrade our theatre environment and bringing cutting edge technology to our hospital.
Duties And Responsibilities
To provide exemplary care for cancer patients undergoing cancer treatment and investigations, or inpatient care.
Lead specialist in the area of SACT providing specialist education and support.
Develop practice in the assessment of health and wellbeing needs within cancer services within Spire Healthcare.
Provide and receive complex, sensitive, or contentious information across cancer services.
Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas, and work practices within cancer care.
Develop strategies and policies for cancer services.
Who We're Looking For
NMC registration with no restrictions
Experienced Senior Cancer Nurse looking for the next step in their career.
Must be able to administer Chemotherapy
SACT passport essential
Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient cases.
Leadership/managerial skills
